Hi there, my name is Anna. It is so good to see that you are taking the heavy first step towards your healing experience, looking for a therapist. I am glad you are here. 

I am passionate about working alongside children, adolescents, and adults dealing with low self-esteem, grief, trauma, relational problems, and anxiety. Each individual is unique, so I strive to engage with each person’s interests and strengths to promote growth within themselves. Often times much can be done in a therapy room, but when it comes to applying it, it depends on the client’s environment. I find it helpful to include parents or support systems in some sessions to see how matters may be applied outside of the session successfully, if appropriate. 

I am open to integrating certain religious or spiritual practices in session, as well as utilizing art to help process and understand the self better. I hope that in working alongside you, you feel equipped and more sure of what you may confront in your way. 

If we get to work together, you can expect to use familiar parts of yourself or parts you did not know existed in order to promote your growth and transformation. Initially we would go over the goals you choose for yourself, and from there the goals would become a plan for our time together.
