     Associate Marriage and Family Therapy

As the parent of a struggling child or teen, you may often wonder what you can do to help them feel better. Adolescents face unique challenges that can feel overwhelming, like social media, bullying, self-esteem issues, anxiety, and depression. Not to mention some of the difficulties you may have faced as a family, like adoption, divorce, death of a loved one, or a traumatic event. You can see that your child is struggling, but they won’t even talk to you. Or perhaps they don’t have the language to communicate their big feelings to you. How do you help your child when you are unsure where to start? Well, I am here to help.

I will walk alongside you and your adolescent to help lift heavy weights from your shoulders, find hope, and discover a new vision for your future. You do not have to go through this alone. I have years of experience working with adolescents and their families, helping them navigate behavioral and emotional issues, grief, trauma, divorce, adjustment issues, and more. I understand that no single approach is the right one for every individual or family, so I have been trained in a range of modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory. These various trainings allow me to adjust with my clients, working collaboratively to help create a plan that works best for you and your family.

My educational background includes a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International, and a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Human and Family Development from Arizona State University. I am certified in Prepare and Enrich and EMDR.

When you are ready to help get your child on the path to healing, I’m ready to help. Reach out to today so we can schedule our first session and get your child on the road to feeling better.
