Evelyn Aparicio, MA, AMFT

 Associate Marriage and Family Therapy

Watching your child navigate the complexities of adolescence can be overwhelming, especially when faced with challenges like social media, bullying, self-esteem issues, anxiety, and depression. Family difficulties such as adoption, divorce, the loss of a loved one, or a traumatic event only add to the complexity. It's not uncommon to witness your child grappling with these issues yet struggling to communicate their feelings.

In times like these, it can be challenging to know where to start. That's where I come in.

I am here to walk alongside you and your adolescent, offering support and guidance to help alleviate the weight on your shoulders and rediscover hope for the future. You don't have to face these challenges alone.

With years of experience working with adolescents and their families, I specialize in navigating a variety of issues, including behavioral and emotional challenges, grief, trauma, divorce, and adjustment issues. Recognizing that each family is unique, I have been trained in a range of therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory. This allows me to tailor my approach to your and your family's specific needs.

I am also trained in Prepare and Enrich and EMDR.

When you're ready to guide your child toward healing, I'm here to help. Reach out today to schedule our first session and embark on the journey to your child's emotional well-being.

Evelyn is available for in-person and telehealth sessions.
